We are organising summer schools focused on the development of communication skills and other proficiency in foreign languages. Available for university staff, students and public.

The first step in the registration process is our application form which you will find attached under the content of every summer school offered. Once you fill in the application, you will receive the information about payment. Your spot is confirmed after we get the payment for the summer school fee.
If you fill in the billing information in the Shopping Centre where you pay the summer school fee, the invoice will be generated automatically by the system.

Upon successful completion and minimum 85 % attendance, participants receive a Masaryk University Language Centre Certificate of Attendance.
There is a small airport in Brno and four international airports close to the city - in Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest; the closest one is in Vienna.

If you decide to take a train, it will drop you off at Brno, Hlavní nádraží (Brno main train station), a five-minute walk from the historical centre. You can also use the public transport: tram no. 4 will take you to the language centre (5 minutes from the main station).

If you come by bus, RegioJet, Flixbus and Eurolines companies will drop you off at the Hotel Grand Bus Station, which is situated next to the Brno Main Train Station. Other buses arrive at Zvonařka Bus Station, approximately 15 minutes from the historical centre.

RegioJet, Flixbus – direct buses from the Vienna Schwechat Airport stop at the Grand Hotel Bus Station in Brno.
LEO Express – direct buses from the Vienna Schwechat Airport stop at the Zvonařka Bus Station in Brno.
Other companies operate from diverse bus and coach stations in Vienna.
The airport railway station in front of the arrivals hall offers trains that will take you to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Train Station), where you change for trains to Brno. You can ask for information and buy tickets to Brno at the Vienna airport. There is also a direct train line between Vienna airport and Brno, operated by RegioJet.
Buses to Brno leave from The Florenc Bus Station (the Prague´s main coach station). To get there, you can use public transport buses: buses no. 119 and 100 stop right in front of the terminals and take you to Prague underground stations. The tickets for public transport can be bought via SMS or at the vending machine at the airport (a 40 CZK ticket is valid for 90 minutes for any combination of public transport means).
Flixbus, Eurolines and other companies operate from Florenc.
RegioJet – the „yellow bus“, leaving from Václav Havel Airport, will take you to Brno with a change at Florenc.
You can buy tickets online or at the ticket office at Terminal 1. We recommend buying the ticket online in advance, as you can cancel or change your ticket up to 15 minutes before departure of your bus.

České dráhy (Czech Railways) - you can buy tickets online or at the railway station. (It also offers airport transfer: bus + train combined ticket, Airport Express).
RegioJet – you can buy tickets online or at the railway station. (The company also offers airport transfer: Airport transfer).
You can take a public transport bus to Bratislava Hlavná stanica (Bratislava Main Train station), the bus station is next to it. Then you can continue with RegioJet, Flixbus, Eurolines or other companies.

The Masaryk University Language Centre is located in the centre of Brno at Komenského náměstí 2 (see the map). The summer school classrooms are usually located (if not stated otherwise) in the main language centre building (or in its vicinity) which has a visible statue of the first Czechoslovakian president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk in front of its doors.
The city of Brno has a well-connected and reliable network of trams, buses and trolleybuses. You can find the information on how to buy a ticket here.
