Opening of the exhibition COCOA – a gift of the gods

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition Cocoa - a gift of the gods, which presents the valuable importance of the crop of Mesoamerican cultures. Cocoa beans were revered as a gift from the gods, served not only for consumption but also as a means of payment.

In Mayan culture, cocoa was a symbol of fertility and cosmic order. The exhibition will be opened with the participation of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador in the Czech Republic and you can look forward to tasting various types of Salvadoran cocoa.,

The exhibition was created in cooperation with the CJV and the MZK and contains photographs from the EPSULA project.
