Italian for Beginners I

  • 11 October – 20 December 2022
  • MU Language Centre, Komenského nám. 2, Brno

Italian course for Beginners is thought for everyone curious about the Italian language and with none or basic previous knowledge.

The course will give you basic spoken and written knowledge of the language.

During the classes, you will discover the Italian language, the culture, and the society but also that Italian is one of the easiest languages to read. Try it to believe it!

The course is aimed to develop all four skills (listening comprehension, reading, writing, and speaking) and introduce you to new vocabulary (very high frequency vocabulary) and Italian grammar, with emphasis on comprehension and communication.

By the end of the course: you will have learned basic expressions to introduce yourself and you will be able to communicate concrete needs in common everyday situations and in a simple manner (in class, at the bar, in the street, at the restaurant, at home, in the travel agency, various and personal activities, etc.),

The course is taught in English by the Italian native speaker Monia Dessi, who has been living in Brno and teaches the Italian language for two years.

See you in class!

The course will be taught in-person if the epidemiologic situation in Czech Republic allows in-person teaching. If the government restrictions change and in-person classes will not be allowed, please be aware that the course automatically switches into online mode without a possibility of reimbursement.
