Course for students at A2/1 level. Students should be familiar with the following topics: the future tense, active use of modal verbs, shops & complaints, the doctor's office, job search (units 8-14 from Čeština expres 2 by Lída Holá and Pavla Bořilová)

Learning outcomes:
Understands sentences and frequently used expressions relating to areas of immediate concern to him/her e.g. where I live, family relationships, how to be polite, likes and dislikes, restaurants and the Czech cuisine. The student can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring simple and direct exchange of information about familiar and common matters. They can use simple expressions to describe aspects of their background, immediate surroundings and matters in areas of immediate need (according to CEFR, for details click here).

Students who wish to continue will have the option of enrolling in the Czech for Intermediate course with starting level A2/2 after completing the course or they can choose from the courses already offered by our language centre.
