The Leadership in International Academic Setting (LIAS) Programme is tailored specifically to the needs of the university staff and offers an opportunity to develop and improve skills essential to lead university teams, units and departments. It will help you get an insight into how to be a skilled and self-reflective leader who can act effectively in diverse situations and who can adapt to different international, national and institutional cultures in a fully flexible and professional manner.
LIAS offers hands-on interactive and informative activities designed to provide a unique, stimulating and highly practical experience. The theoretical input will be combined with individual, pair and group tasks in five face-to-face workshops focused on (a) self-management, (b) professional team development, (c) critical thinking and decision-making, (d) creative thinking and problem-solving, and (e) leadership communication. The Programme will be completed with your personal Leadership Skills Portfolio development.
LIAS will give you an opportunity to expand your professional network, broaden your repertoire of leadership skills, stimulate your personal growth, and find your own identity as a leader in a safe, supportive and synergetic environment.
